The RCA WiP 2021 interim exhibition took place online at the end of January 2021 during the third lockdown period in the UK.
The site took on a high contrast design with a unique 'reveal' identity reflecting the many languages and cultures of the student body. The identity was devised by RCA students and implemented so that a random version would be displayed on each page visit.
The WiP development enabled us to consolidate on the first 2020 iteration of the site which was developed under pressure and to a very tight deadline.
The editorial backend was substantially improved and the image upload process was streamlined enabling the students to quickly preview their submission portfolio.
