No Show Space occupies the ground floor of our studio in East London. We run it as an independent project space for contemporary art with an informal programme of events and shows.
As a non-profit platform we offer support-in-kind to artists to help explore and take risks in their working practice. We are particularly motivated by the role artists can play in bringing about change, even if only subtle shifts, with an emphasis on experimentation, exchange and activism.
We see No Show Space as an IRL space for people to come together for sustained and critical looking, for experimentation, a place to try things out and for constructive failure.
We highly value the conversation that takes place along the way between all the people involved in making projects happen and all the people who experience them, where possible we keep an archive. Under the moniker of No Show Space we produce publications, pamphlets, prints, posters, editions and other ephemera.
The exhibition featured is titled Holy Holy Holy: an exhibition of books with holes curated by Inscription Journal with Fraser Muggeridge and Aslak Gurhold. It took place between 6 Oct - 30 Oct 2021 at No Show Space.
