Avco has recently been developing websites for artists. This is becoming a significant part of the business as artists' web profiles become increasingly important. The development process takes the form of a collaboration, the artist's concept for the site providing the brief. We design the structure, create the look and feel and can provide a broad range of technologies e.g. secure shop, mailing list servers, forums and databases. Avco can maintain the website or supply a set of easily updated templates.

Early websites for the BBC include GCSE Bitesize Revision in 1997, 'DynaMo', Winner of the Royal Television Society Award for Multimedia in Education 1998, 'Words and Pictures' 1999 and BBC Arts Takeaway 2000 (now re-positioned as BBC Arts Gallery).

We have also made sites for arts organisations, TV Swansong, Electra, Shooting Live artists and Mute Magazine.
